Qguar WMS Pro system in the warehouse of the Polish branch of the Lithuanian textile company XM Textiles Poland

Partner implementation of Qguar WMS for XM Textiles Poland

In December last year, the first implementation of Qguar WMS took place within the framework of the Quantum partner program: our Lithuanian partner, Avakompas, implemented the system together with the Quantum International team at XM Textiles Poland, the Polish branch of the Lithuanian textile company.

XM Textiles Europe is a manufacturer of textiles and fabrics for industrial workwear.

The company was founded in 2002 and over the years, the XM Textiles Europe team has been supplying products to Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Oceania, North and South America.

XM Textiles specializes in materials for work and protective clothing, including flame retardant fabrics and reflective tapes. The company has offices and representative offices in eight countries and warehouses in five - Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Italy and Kazakhstan.

More information is available on the company's website: www.xmtextiles.com/pl.

Today, XM Textiles Europe's warehouse operates under the Qguar WMS Pro system.

The launch of production began on December 5 and ended on December 9. Work on the implementation at the warehouse in Gdansk was carried out in an international environment (on both sides):

  • Quantum International was supported by Sergey Konon (project manager) and Oleg Vasilenko (head of the Ukrainian programming department).

Parameters of the automation object:

  • Working hours: 07:00 to 16:00, Mon - Fri.
  • Total area: 5 000 ะผยฒ
  • ย EPR: 1ะก
  • Number of active SKUs: 1000
  • Storage technology: Euro pallets and non-standard pallets (1500*1500);
  • Number of ramps: 3
  • Equipment used: hand pallet trucks, stackers, rockers, forklifts;

What was the challenge for the Qguar team?

- short period of time for implementation;
- a large amount of work on process design and testing of developments;
- non-standard goods for storage: rolls of textiles with a variable quantity, batch, lot in each roll;
- each roll has a unique code (labeled at the factory in China). This code is linked to the data (quantity, batch, lot) in the ERP system.

The effect of using Qguar WMS in the company's warehouse

The system was implemented in a modern Class A warehouse.

Processes for receiving, reserving, shipping, repacking, and inventorying rolls were developed without entering the quantity into the radio terminal, only by scanning a unique code.

By implementing the Qguar WMS Pro warehouse management system, XM Textiles Europe is able to:

  • ย Receive and ship products accurately, taking into account batches, tones and shades of fabric;
  • Improve the quality of warehouse accounting.
  • Reduce dependence on staff knowledge of the products stored in the warehouse.
  • Automation of all warehouse processes: acceptance, shipment, labeling of cargo containers and their subsequent delivery.
  • The management of the order of processing applications for the selection of goods and the assignment of tasks to employees has been automated.

- I am very pleased with this implementation, as it is a clear demonstration of the tangible benefits we will achieve through the Quantum partner program. So far, we have signed partnership agreements with one company from Lithuania and three companies from Hungary. We are currently working intensively on the Polish market, and then we will launch the program in Germany and other European countries. We have a lot of work ahead of us," summarizes project manager Serhiy Konon.

We are grateful to our partner Avakompas for our fruitful cooperation and wish XM Textiles Poland further success in business development!
