Automation of the logistics center - Epicenter, Kalynivka

Since 2011, the Kalynivka logistics center has been operating in the Vasylkiv district of Kyiv region with an area of 100 thousand square meters. It centrally supplies 75% of the goods to the chain's shopping centers. The logistics center also houses a customs terminal that provides a full range of services for customs clearance of goods and vehicles moving across the customs border of Ukraine by road and rail.

In July 2020, a project to automate the modern fulfillment center of the largest Ukrainian chain of construction and household hypermarkets Epicenter K began under the control of the Qguar WMS Pro system.

The peculiarity of the automation project was the combination of efficient operation of the warehouse complex both in the accumulation mode - with subsequent distribution of goods - and in the cross-docking station mode - with the distribution of goods for shipment from the supply, bypassing storage locations (Pick by Line technology).

Technologies were implemented to automate existing offline processes:

- Pick-by-Line

- Cross-docking

- Storage
