- Thermal transfer. Such a device allows you to apply color printing on various types of media (cardboard, paper, textile material, polypropylene). The information applied using this type of device is characterized by high print quality, resistant to abrasion, fading, and other adverse factors. Images are applied using a thermal transfer method that eliminates the need for refilling or replacing cartridges. As a consumable material in such printers, special ribbons are used that have ink layers (resin, wax, resin with wax). The thermal head in a thermal transfer printer heats the ribbon, after which the image is transferred from it to the label surface.
By function
Based on this parameter, print printers are divided into:
- mobile;
- desktop;
- semi-industrial;
- industrial.
