Thermal label

A thermal label is an indispensable tool for labeling goods with a limited shelf life. The main advantage of thermal labels is printing without the use of dyes. The image appears on the label when exposed to areas that are determined by the thermal head of the printer or automatic scales, high temperature (about 120 degrees Celsius).

Variations

Between themselves, thermal labels differ in various parameters (production material, production technology). They are represented by several types.

• ECO. There is no protective layer on these stickers. They are intended for use in dry and warm conditions. Labels of this type mark goods with a short selling period, or transported over short distances. For their manufacture, white paper is used, which does not contain wood components. A special heat-sensitive coating is used for its processing.
• TOP. Such thermal labels are also made of white paper, which does not contain wood. The material has a smear-resistant coating on both sides. The protective layer is resistant to humid environments, high (+70 degrees Celsius) and low (-40 degrees Celsius) temperatures. These labels are used for labeling frozen and chilled products. The quality characteristics of such stickers last 3-4 times longer, regardless of the temperature difference.
• PRO. With the help of these labels, consignments of goods placed for storage in warehouses are marked. They have a multi-level protective layer that prevents damage to the material under the influence of moisture during frequent movements. Export products are also marked with such thermal labels.
